From May 28 to 30, 2024, the XXII International Industrial Forum was held – the largest industrial exhibition in Ukraine, where domestic and foreign companies in the fields of metallurgy, metalworking, welding, hydraulics and pneumatics, automation and robotics, lifting and transport and warehouse equipment, and production safety were presented. The International Industrial Forum is a unique platform for manufacturers, where products and services are presented to a wide range of interested parties, meetings are held with key stakeholders of the industrial market, and conferences, seminars, round tables, and master classes from leading experts are held at the initiative of the Department of Industry.
On May 29, 2024, as part of the XXII International Industrial Forum, Olena Titova (Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Laboratory of Scientific and Methodological Support for Training Specialists in Colleges and Technical Schools of the Institute of Vocational Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine) met with representatives of the company “Ukrfavorit LLC” with the aim of developing professional cooperation. During the meeting, special attention was paid to the problems of professional training of specialists for the machine-building industry in wartime. The owner of the company, Olena Isayeva, outlined the needs of modern machine-building production and expectations from graduates of vocational (vocational and technical), professional and pre-higher and higher education institutions in the perspective of the post-war recovery of the Ukrainian economy. Olena Titova presented the activities of the Institute of Vocational Education. Prospects for cooperation were discussed: exchange of modern information in the field of mechanical engineering, scientific and methodological support for the training of specialists for the machine-building industry, joint work within the framework of international projects. Following the meeting, it is planned to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Institute of Vocational Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and Ukrfavorit LLC.
