Forbes Ukraine presented the second Next250 rating at the annual entrepreneurs’ forum. This is a list of medium and small enterprises that are promising and form the basis for the development of the Ukrainian economy for the next 5-10 years.
The Next250 included companies that were selected based on the following criteria:
- financial results;
- rapid scaling/growth;
- export component;
- prospects of the market in which the company operates;
- product innovation;
- non-standard management or marketing solutions;
- resilience – we paid attention to businesses that were severely affected by the war but continued to operate.
The main arguments behind why Ukrfavoirt got into Forbes
- “Ukrfavoirt” is not just a supplier, but an assistant to foundries, helping to overcome difficulties on the way to obtaining a perfect casting;
- Our goal is to bring the foundry industry of Ukraine to a higher level, as well as to show young people that the profession of a foundryman can be modern and promising;
- Our logistics are brought to perfect planning; during the blockade of the Ukrainian-Polish borders, each client received materials on time;
- The company has already been relocated twice, the owner, Elena Isayeva, does not give up and continues to lead the team despite obstacles and difficulties.
Our focus groups and difficulties
Ukrfavorit stepped on the rake twice, making the same offer – storing large stocks of materials in the warehouse and freezing working capital.
Therefore, starting a business from scratch for the third time, the company’s management decided to bring goods to order and have supplies of materials for 1-2 months in advance, no longer.
After the company relocated from Melitopol to Alexandria, we searched for employees among the local population for a very long time. We managed to find an accountant a year after the start of the search, and a logistics manager a year and a half later. Our company has high requirements for employees, so we really appreciate the team that left with Ukrfavoorit, such specialists are very difficult to find in Ukraine now. To retain specialists, we fully compensate them for their accommodation in Alexandria, annually review the salary rate and encourage them with bonuses and gifts for successful projects.
The founder of Ukrfavorit, Olena Isayeva, says that no matter how many times she has to start all over again, she is confident that the company will be able to recover and be successful thanks to a strong team!
Future plans
A project is planned for 2025-2027 to distribute and promote Ukrainian-made castings in Europe. The company’s founder, Olena Isayeva, is a member of the working group for the development of sectoral sections of the Plan for Ukraine, which is implemented within the framework of the Ukraine Facility program and long-term sectoral strategies for the development of Ukrainian industry with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
