2023 was quite productive and active for Ukrfavorit. After a very difficult 2022, the company began to participate in various exhibitions, business events, and organize employee training.
From June 12 to 16, the owner of Ukrfavorit, Olena Isayeva, together with the Ukrainian delegation, was present at the large-scale exhibition for industrial sectors GIFA-2023 in Düsseldorf, Germany. There, she represented the interests of Ukrfavorit and Ukrainian foundries. Ukrainian foundries produce high-quality castings that meet European standards, and the demand for European products is always high, especially in India, China, and the USA.
GIFA takes place every 4 years and is the most important trade fair for the foundry industry worldwide, covering all aspects of the innovations that shape the future. Visitors were able to see a diverse range of products, including foundry machines, foundry products, machine tools, robotics, 3D printing and much more.
This year, GIFA exceeded all expectations!
- about 2,200 exhibitors represented the power of the metallurgical industry in the form of industrial machines, installations and modern solutions
- 56 participating countries
- 12 pavilions of exhibition space
- 63,300 visitors from 114 countries
- 58% of visitors are business owners and opinion leaders
- over 70% of exhibitors have signed long-term contracts.
In addition to the exhibition, most pavilions hosted conferences and thematic meetings, where participants from all over the world gathered and discussed the following topics:
- shortage of qualified personnel
- high electricity costs
- climate and environmental protection
- automation
- use of artificial intelligence
Throughout the exhibition, the organizers promoted the ecological path of foundry production and metal processing under the slogan “ecoMetals”. The idea of such an initiative is to provide an impetus to exhibiting companies to invest in innovative, sustainable and economically competitive technologies.
Exhibitor feedback showed that GIFA became the absolute leader among this year’s events for industrial sectors.
GIFA is a unique event that combines an exhibition, educational conferences, meetings with business partners, and is also a place to find sources of investment!
