Today, Ukraine is suffering from a personnel crisis in industrial sectors. That is why, in September 2024, a meeting was held between representatives of Ukrfavorit LLC and the Institute of Vocational Education of NAPU.
Institute of Professional Education of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. The Institute of Professional Education of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) is an innovative scientific institution that carries out fundamental and applied research in priority areas of professional (vocational and technical) and specialized pre-higher education to solve current theoretical and methodological problems in the field of pedagogy, psychology and philosophy of education, providing comprehensive scientific and methodological support for the training of future specialists and the professional development of teachers, taking into account socio-economic changes, the demands of Ukrainian society and the individual needs of vocational education applicants in career growth.
The subject of the meeting was a discussion of a new innovative education for engineering students. This project involves the formation of competencies and skills in future specialists through innovative teaching methods, including the use of virtual and augmented reality (VR & AR) programs.
A memorandum of cooperation and popularization of this educational project was signed between the participants of the meeting.
Purpose of the Memorandum
LLC “Ukrfavorit” and the Institute of Professional Education of NAPU will conduct joint activities in the field of socio-economic development of Ukraine, development of education, science and business, taking into account leading domestic and global practices.
Areas of cooperation:
- Information support for entrepreneurs, identification of their needs and initiatives, activation of communication between education, science and business.
- Joint participation in conducting scientific research, modernizing educational programs, and implementing scientific and educational projects.
- Holding joint scientific and practical events (seminars, webinars, conferences, master classes, etc.).
- Coverage of the results of joint activities on the official websites of the parties;
- Promoting the implementation of scientific research results;
- Reviewing publications of an educational and industrial-practical nature;
- Creation of joint creative/working groups to solve complex issues of a scientific and experimental nature, development of educational and methodological complexes, textbooks and manuals for use in the process of professional training and retraining of personnel;
- Formation of entrepreneurial culture, increasing the prestige of entrepreneurial activity, expanding the information and educational support network;
- Implementation of measures to protect and improve the environment, involving the community in implementing green sustainable development initiatives;
- Development of business support infrastructure, including public organizations and other institutions that promote development in the field of entrepreneurship.
Result:
Given the active social position of the company “Ukrfavorit”, experience in cooperation with domestic and foreign organizations, experience in participating in working groups on developing concepts and strategies for business and industrial sector development, submitting applications and receiving grants, promote cooperation between LLC “Ukrfavorit” and the Institute of Vocational Education, in which each laboratory can find its points of intersection of interests: the company is concerned with the problems of developing youth entrepreneurship and professional orientation of youth, developing and implementing environmental production technologies, developing educational materials (usually using digital technologies) to train specialists at enterprises to work with new materials and equipment.
