Traditionally, at the end of May, representatives of industrial sectors gather at the International Industrial Forum.
MPF – a platform for establishing relationships
This year’s forum brought together participants who demonstrated their products in welding, robotics, 3D printing, equipment, hydraulics and pneumatics, spare parts, chemical materials, personal protective equipment and production protection, thematic media resources and printing, laboratory equipment, virtual development and modeling, scientific projects, foundry and metalworking.
The forum became a platform for fruitful meetings and business negotiations, where representatives of manufacturing companies, distributors, scientific institutions, and government agencies had the opportunity to establish new partnerships, exchange experience, and conclude profitable contracts.
Foundry Conference
An important component of the forum was the conference “Foundry as a key component for the revival of the industrial complex.” This event brought together specialists in the foundry industry from Ukraine and abroad, representatives of the legislative and executive authorities of Ukraine, representatives of industry associations, and heads of enterprises.

The conference presented reports on current issues of industry development. Today, foundry production is a priority industry for ensuring the development of the industrial sector of the Ukrainian economy.
Key points from the reports of foundry experts
In the first 4 months of 2024, the production of foundry products increased by 1.5 times compared to the same period last year. And this is despite the fact that part of the production capacity was lost.
As of May 2024, we have the following statistics on foundries (Fig. No. 1):

Currently, those enterprises that are operating must work twice as productively to satisfy consumer demands. According to statistics, the share of foundry products is greatest in the following areas (Fig. No. 2):

Foundries can only reach pre-war production levels through scaling!
Currently, Ukrainian businesses are actively being financed by international organizations. Some businesses also have the opportunity to participate in state development programs.
Our founder, Olena Isayeva, shared practical advice at the conference on finding and attracting financial assistance for the development of enterprises on a non-repayable basis.

“Ukrfavorit” has already used grant assistance twice. We ourselves went through the process from finding donors to transferring funds to the account and preparing the necessary reporting.

Conclusions
The International Industrial Forum 2024 in Kyiv and the Foundry Conference are important events for the industrial sector of Ukraine and the world. They create a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience and innovations, contributing to the development and modernization of the industry. Participation in these events opens up new opportunities for cooperation and growth, which is extremely important for the sustainable development of the economy.

Participation in the MPF opens up many opportunities for foundries:
- exchange of experience
- meeting with colleagues from other countries
- exchange of knowledge and practical skills
- the opportunity to find new partners for cooperation and expand sales markets.
The International Industrial Forum 2024 demonstrated the resilience and dynamic development of Ukrainian industry, even in the face of military action. The Forum proved that Ukraine remains an attractive place for investment and cooperation.
