Celebrating with a good heart: 17th anniversary of Ukrfavorit – with concern for the future

In 2025, Ukrfavorit LLC celebrates its 17th anniversary. This day has become for us not only a step in development, but also an opportunity to thank the world around us – for trust, support, and the strength to be useful. That is why this year we decided to celebrate our anniversary differently: not to accept gifts, but to give them to those in need.

The history of the Perlinka orphanage.

The Perlinka orphanage was founded on April 10, 1999 by Serhiy Dryuk and the International German-Ukrainian Charitable Foundation “Samaritan Service – Samariter Dienst”. It was then that the first orphans appeared on the territory of a dilapidated rented building in the Kirovograd region, Oleksandrovsky district, village of Voynovka, a former kindergarten. They were brought by Karnaukhov S., literally pulling them out of the hatches. It was a group of boys who lived on the street and stabbed with knives – Zolotarev E., Krupskaya Zh., Krupskaya A. and Pavlo P. At first they behaved terribly: they swore, started fights, scared the teachers with frames and frogs, and repeatedly escaped. The employees of the Perlinka orphanage were patient and did not show fear, helping the former homeless people gain courage, feel warmth, love, and care.

In May, new orphans were added – Chechevko Vitaliy, Khrushch Mysha and Yulia Lysyak Yurko and his 3-year-old brother Maksym. This was the first small child in the orphanage. He was taught numbers, letters, and spelling. All orphans in the Perlynka orphanage were divided into two groups – boys and girls. Day and night teachers were assigned to each group. Day teachers (the first ones – Soroka S., Pyvnenko I.) taught children discipline, cleaned, did homework, conducted educational excursions and organized leisure activities. Night shift teachers (the first ones Karnaukhov S. and Fedorenko S.) conducted evening educational conversations, prepared the boys for bed.

For many years, our children and I have been constantly praying for a new building. We really wanted to have our own home. Let us recall that for many years we lived in a large old building of a rural kindergarten and occupied only a small part of it. Also, our family was constantly growing and the space rented for “Perlinka” was already small, in other words, it was becoming cramped. But we did not lose hope and the construction of a new building was begun. In our settlement, an abandoned collective farm canteen building stood for a long time, it was hard to even imagine that something would come of it, the building looked so destroyed and hopeless. But the Bible says that with faith, you can move even mountains. Especially since the very idea and motivation for the project was correct in all aspects. The construction was started by the efforts of the construction team of the rehabilitation center “Ark”. The construction, going through cold and heat, the construction team erected a new building. With faith and prayer on our lips, the children and I supported them, the staff and older students constantly came to the construction site to help with something. In the summer, when we shouted in unison: “It happened”!!! It was one of the happiest days for us and our children. The opening of a new house for “Perlinka”. A lot of family guests: from the governor of the region to district services, television, many of our friends and just passers-by, warm and cozy rooms that can accommodate up to 50 children, wide corridors, comfortable showers and a laundry room. All this is the result of enormous efforts and, of course, God’s love.

We give warmth

On May 27 – the first day of the International Industrial Forum , which will be held in Kyiv – the company “Ukrfavorit” is launching a charity campaign “Celebrating with a Kind Heart” to support the “Perlynka” orphanage. This project is a continuation of our corporate philosophy: to share warmth, magic, and light not only in working with metal, but also in everyday life.
