In 2025, Ukrfavorit LLC and the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to join efforts in the development of educational, scientific, and scientific and technical cooperation.

The document was signed by the director of Ukrfavorit LLC, Denys Burdin, and the rector of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Anatoly Melnychenko. The memorandum defines the principles, priority areas, and organizational forms of cooperation between the Parties.

Subject of the Memorandum

The main goal of the document is to consolidate the efforts of both Parties to develop effective cooperation in the fields of education, science and technology. The Parties agreed to promote the implementation of initiatives of mutual interest, involving education seekers, scientists and industrial partners.

Priority areas of cooperation within the framework of the Memorandum

The signed Memorandum outlines a wide range of priority areas of cooperation between the Parties aimed at industrial recovery, the development of education, science and innovation in Ukraine.

In particular, the Parties agreed to promote cooperation in the field of foundry production as one of the key areas of modern industry. This includes the introduction of innovations, automation of processes, and the involvement of students and scientists in the practical implementation of projects.

Particular emphasis is placed on the modernization and digital transformation of the industry through knowledge exchange, development of applied science, implementation of research and educational initiatives. It is also envisaged to create conditions for the formation of human resources, in particular through dual education, internships and scientific and industrial integration.

The parties will provide support in updating educational programs, conduct seminars, round tables, participate in the development of innovative projects and exchange information for the purpose of professional growth of employees. It is also planned to organize joint events at the national and international levels, participate in forums, conferences, trainings, competitions, promote the creation of new products and services, implement research and projects aimed at the commercialization of innovations.

In the context of modern challenges, measures are envisaged to increase resilience to crisis situations, in particular information, energy and cyber threats. Cooperation also provides for the involvement of third parties, in particular state bodies, international organizations, other interested parties, with the consent of the Parties.

Organization of cooperation

Cooperation between the Parties will be implemented in the form of active interaction based on the principles of trust, support and mutual assistance. It is envisaged to exchange information, participate in joint events, establish contacts with third parties, create working groups, as well as promptly exchange information through designated contact persons.

Mechanism for implementing the Memorandum

The Memorandum is implemented within the framework of the current legislation of Ukraine and does not create any financial obligations or obligations for joint activities. All possible agreements on financial or operational issues are drawn up in separate agreements. The parties reserve the right to cooperate with other participants on topics that do not contradict the terms of the Memorandum. The document is not a preliminary agreement and is concluded in two copies, which have equal legal force.

Terms of the Memorandum

The Memorandum shall enter into force and be deemed concluded from the date of its signing by the Parties and shall be valid until 12/31/2027 inclusive.

About acquaintance

Not so long ago, we managed to get to know each other better, university students were present at our company’s stand during the International Industrial Forum, which took place on May 27–29, 2025 in Kyiv.

The event included a live presentation, which was conducted by our technical specialist. Students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the HTS, ask professional questions and hear about the application of solutions in foundry production. Such an exchange of knowledge and experience became not only an informative, but also a motivational element for future specialists.
