Cold quenching oil for routine applications.- Quenching of bulky, simple-shaped parts made of medium or high-alloy steels with good hardening capacity.- Quenching of case-hardened or nitrided steels.- Working temperature : 30°C to 80°C.- All types of furnaces with separate or built-in tanks
Product description:
Excellent resistance to oxidation and thermal changes owing to:- the use of highly refined base oils,- the presence of effective and durable antioxidant additives which give long bath life.- High flash point to ensure risk-free operation in the utilisation temperature range.- Low volatility limits evaporation loss and the formation of vapours and fumes.- Aromatic-free oil thus odorless and colorless for better workplace environment.- Less distortion and cracking due to a lower cooling speed at low temperature.- DRASTA C 1022 is fully compatible with all quenching oils in the TOTAL product range.
