Who in Melitopol became the best entrepreneur of the year?

Entrepreneur’s Day is traditionally celebrated on the first Sunday of September. In Melitopol, the most active businessmen and businesswomen who contribute to the development of the city were awarded by representatives of the city authorities on Friday. The ceremony was held in the small hall of the Railwaymen’s Cultural Center.

In the lobby, business representatives took photos against the backdrop of a thematic photo zone, drank coffee to live classical music, chatted, and enjoyed high art – a mobile art gallery.

The hall gathered several dozen leaders of the city’s most active, progressive, and innovative enterprises, which replenish the local budget, create jobs, and glorify Melitopol with their production and other achievements.

Then began the solemn moment of awarding the winners of the annual competition “Best Entrepreneur of the Year”. At the initiative of People’s Deputy Serhiy Minko, it is being held for the fifth year in a row. It was the Melitopol People’s Deputy who first addressed the entrepreneurs.

– The idea was based on the desire to show the public the achievements of our business, to stimulate the achievements of cooperation with the city authorities. And the desire to develop our hometown together. It is here that we can create new, best production facilities, pay taxes and work to improve the living standards of Melitopol residents. Without a doubt, Melitopol’s entrepreneurship is the basis for the development and future of our city, – emphasized Serhiy Minko.

The People’s Deputy noted that under the government, partnership relations have been established with business, and this has led to the city becoming a powerful business and cultural center in recent years. This is also due to business.

Then the award ceremony began. Serhiy Minko presented diplomas, statuettes, flowers, and souvenirs to the three nominees.

In the nomination “Best Taxpayer” the winners were: LLC “TARA”. The founder and director of LLC “TARA” is Eric Martirosyan. Eric Grigorovich is annually elected the winner in various nominations of the competition. Thus, in 2017 he received an award in the nomination “Best Employer”, in 2018 – “Best Taxpayer”, in 2019 – “Stability”.

Last year, Erik Grigorovich became the winner of the “Pride of the City” nomination. His enterprise has been a leader in paying taxes and paying the average monthly salary for many years. The plant employs 221 people, and the average salary is 19,000 hryvnias. The amount of taxes that “TARA” sent to the city budget this year alone is 31 million hryvnias.

The second winner is LLC “Biol” (manager Oleg Shostak) with 441 employees. The average salary at “Biol” is over 13,000 hryvnias. And the amount of taxes received by the city budget is almost 3 million hryvnias.

The third winner in the same nomination was LLC “Ruslan-komplekt”, which employs 410 people, the average salary is over 8,000 hryvnias. The amount of taxes to the city budget is over 4 million hryvnias.

The winner in the “AMBASSADOR of Melitopol” nomination was Volodymyr Ovcharenko, CEO of the TURBOKOM Group of Companies. He was the initiator of the Melitopol Mechanical Engineers Association and was at the origins of the creation of the Melitopol Mechanical Engineers Association public union. In May of this year, he headed a business mission of Melitopol Mechanical Engineers to Uzbekistan.

The Turbocom Group of Companies has taken on the responsibility of organizing the participation of Melitopol enterprises in the AgroExpo exhibition, which will be held at the end of September in Kropyvnytskyi. Turbocom exports its own products to more than 30 countries around the world and has representative offices in 6 countries.

In the nomination “Partnership and Development” the award was received by Olena Isayeva – founder of LLC “UKRFAVORIT”, where 19 people work. The average salary for the enterprise is almost 20,000 hryvnias. The amount of taxes to the city budget is almost 300,000 hryvnias.

Then, Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov addressed the audience with a welcoming speech:

– Your enterprises employ over 20 thousand people. And this is 20 thousand families. We have many achievements together. According to many indicators, today Melitopol is a leader in Ukraine. And I am grateful that your enterprises are also leaders in Ukraine. This year, a new Coordination Council was created. And there are already the first achievements – a joint trip to Uzbekistan and the conclusion of the first contracts. And a separate pride of Melitopol is the club of business women, – the mayor addressed the entrepreneurs and wished that initiative and inspiration would never leave them and that they would create new projects.

Next, the mayor of the city awarded the Chairman of the Board – General Director of the Joint-Stock Company “Hydrosila” MZTG – Ivan Sydorchuk in the nomination “Best Employer”. This enterprise employs 466 people. The average salary is over 10,000 hryvnias. The amount of taxes to the city budget is over 4 million hryvnias. In 2017 and 2020, he was the winner in the nomination “Best Taxpayer”.

The “Best Employer” statuette was also received by a representative of Hegelman Transport Ukraine LLC, which employs 142 people. The average salary is almost 20,000 hryvnias.

And another winner is LLC “Production and Commercial Firm “Melitopol Cherries” – Director Ivan Hryntsiv. During the season, the enterprise employs 112 people. The average salary is over 7,000 hryvnias, and the amount of taxes received by the city budget is over 600,000 hryvnias.

There are two winners in the nomination “Best Innovation of the Year”. LLC “Avtoprivid” – Oleksandr Akimov with 163 employees and an average salary of over 10,000 hryvnias. The amount of taxes received by the city budget from this plant is over 1 million hryvnias.

The second winner is the young team of the KROK computer academy and its director Lyubov Tribun.

First Deputy Mayor Iryna Rudakova presented a diploma and a statuette to the winners of the “Successful Startup” nomination – a married couple of entrepreneurs Igor and Olga Zakharchenko. They created a space in the city for a cozy vacation with friends or family, where you can relax, dream and recharge a little with a cup of your favorite drink. Tea Bar is an area free from alcohol, vaping and hookah. This is the first establishment in the city that professionally combines Chinese tea culture and coffee brewing in its activities. The company has its own principles and philosophy, which it adheres to, despite the trends of the modern service market.

In the nomination “Business LADY OF THE YEAR” the winner was Anna Cherkashyna – a person with an active life position, who popularizes entrepreneurial culture, unites women for the sake of development. Anna is one of the organizers of the WOMEN’S FORUM “PRIAZOV LADY FORUM”.

After the award ceremony, the entrepreneurs took a commemorative photo on the porch of the renovated Railwaymen’s Headquarters with government representatives, after which they went on a tour of the infrastructure facilities.
